Frasca Reconfigurable Training Device (RTD) OAS offers cutting-edge training on Garmin avionics systems with the Frasca Reconfigurable Training Device (RTD) is FAA Approved to fly instrument approaches to anywhere in the US and can be logged for Instrument Rating credit for up to 20 of the required 40 hours required ,and can be configured as a Cessna 172S G1000 NXi and Piper Seminole Garmin G1000 NXi Twin and finally a Classis Cessna 172S Six Pack with dual Garmin 430W Navigators. We also have a G1000 Trainer to practice sequence flows. These tools provide immersive, hands-on learning experiences for pilots transitioning to advanced Garmin interfaces, enhancing skills in a cost-effective, risk-free environment or to continue recurrent training to keep those hard-earned skills proficient.
G1000 Legacy & NXi Systems Trainer The G1000 Legacy & NXi Systems Trainer is designed to introduce pilots to the world of modern Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS). This training focuses on building foundational knowledge of the G1000 and NXi systems. Pilots train using actual Garmin factory software, which allows them to focus exclusively on mastering the methodology and workflow of these advanced avionics suites. The training is conducted in a simulated flight environment, from takeoff to touchdown, enabling pilots to learn in a cost-effective, efficient, and risk-free setting.
